Here are some website addresses for you to look for apartments, and a list of Hotels, Hostels, and University dorms. We have no relationship with any of these places, and are not responsible for any arrangement you make with them. They are not listed in any order of preference. They are all in Manhattan. All have either/and dorms, single rooms, shared rooms, with linens and towels, bath or shared baths. Each will have different amenities. I recommend you contact them, to see exactly what each has; TV, Fridge, Kitchen or Use of Kitchen or nothing, phones, shared bath, closets, etc. Depending on what you want, they all cost between $25-$180 per night for a single. Many have a price for the week. Most have private rooms, or double rooms, but I have not listed all the prices. I will note their contact information, category, and a basic price for a single person (as of 1/2002). Most of them do not take credit cards, so you must be sure what they require before you come. I assume if you want to come to New York, that you have enough basic English to deal with daily living in New York. If you have any particular questions, contact me.
